Can u use frozen blueberries in muffin recipes or do u have to wait until they thaw?

Keep them frozen, but dust them in flour before adding to the muffin batter. This will help absorb any excess liquid, and keep them mixed vs. sinking to the bottom of the muffin. Another great trick for blueberry muffins is to mash some of them in the batter, and keep the rest whole. Can u use frozen blueberries in muffin recipes or do u have to wait until they thaw?
they can be frozen no problem*

Use them frozen. The results will be best that way. They just make a mess when thawed.
You can, but you should roll them in flour first. (husband is a bakery manager). Frozen blueberries taste better :)
I use them while they're frozen and it turns out fine
I find it is better to use them from frozen, especially in muffin recipes because they don't end up as purple bobs in the mixture.
I would def thaw them and drain them. They will release to much juice other wise.
They can be frozen its fine.
I've used frozen blueberries and they taste just fine, but honestly, they don't take very long to thaw out either. Just place them in a colander, run some cold water over them to thaw, let them drain fully and place on a paper towel to remove all the excess water. Hope this helps you out with your dilemma today.
when making muffins never add thawed blueberries. Always add frozen berries. They hold up to the mixing better and add a nice bite of whole berry when you bite into one.
